Upon an invitation from the Archimandrite Boutros Gharib Patriarchal Vicar of the Greek Melkite Catholic for Kuwait and the G.C.C countries, a number of IWG members visited the Greek Melkite Catholic Church. Father Boutrus Ghareeb welcomed the group and thanked them for their appreciated visit and expressed his happiness with having them in the church.
Together with his staff, he introduced the members to the Church and explained its importance and the way it reflects the religious tolerance in Kuwait.
On behalf of the IWG board and members, Mrs. Rima Al Khalidi, wife of the Palestinian Ambassador and presidential advisor of the IWG, thanked the gracious hosts for their hospitality and warm reception.
Mrs. Khalidi together with Mrs Ghada Shawky, wife of the Egyptian ambassador and newly appointed president of the IWG for the year 2022 / 23, presented Father Gharib with a souvenir shield on behalf of the IWG board and members.
