On Sunday January 20.2019 International Woman Group (IWG) in cooperation with Embassy of the State of Palestine in Kuwait held a Palestinian Cultural Day in Crowne Plaza hotel Al Thuraya city

Mrs. Clethe Gubler spouse of Swiss Federation Ambassdor and President of IWG welcomed H.E Ambassdor of the State of Palestine Rami Tahboub for his presence and thanked Mrs Rima Al Khalidi spouse of the Palestinian Ambassdor and Vice President of IWG for her initiative and efforts to hold this event .

Mrs Al Khalidi welcomed the members and guests of the event and introduced the program of the Palestinian Cultural Day.

Ambassdor Tahboub opened the event with a briefed speech by thanking IWG for holding this special day , he highlighted the importance of the State of Palestine from a historic, Culture, tourist, heritage aspects and stressed on the importance of visiting Palestine and enjoy its beauty.

Dr. Ghada Hijjawi Qaddumi President of World Craft Council-Asia Pacific , gave a presentation on the city of Hebron (Al Khalil ) which got the award of the world’s handicrafts city in 2016 , presentation was escorted with a documentary about the importance of Hebron for the Palestinian heritage and economy.

Costume as a language was the next detailed presentation by Mrs. Siham Abu Ghazaleh member of the Palestinian Women Union, head of the heritage committee at the Palestinian Heritage Center , talked about the importance of the Palestinian costume to preserve the Palestinian identity and heritage, and was presented by a number of Palestinian young ladies wearing the Palestinian costume they performed it to the audience.

Last chapter of the event was a song on Jerusalem that was sang with the voice of a very talented and special voice Dr. Shireen Hattar from Jordan

A live made Nabulsi Kunafa was part of the event .

At the end of the event Mrs. Rima Al Khalidi Vice President of IWG spouse of the Ambassdor of the State of Palestine gave all women attended the event a symbolic Palestinian heritage gifts from Palestine.
